At Night In The Woods

In the woods,

at night,

when the darkness comes,

the sun is down,

and the wild awakes,

lighted by the stars,

the forest orchestra,

erupts into a,

cacophony of sounds,

crickets and bullfrogs,

owls and whip-poor-wills,

a long sad note,

from a loon on the water,

a musical moment,

in the woods at night.
