No matter what I did,

The ghosts came anyway.

I shut my eyes,

And I heard their voices,

Stuffed my ears,

And I’d be waked,

By their icy tickle,

Phantoms made by,

memories that I,

Desperately want to forget.

And no matter,

How badly I pray,

The ghosts came,

anyway.
