Early Winter Snows
The first flakes fall,
on frosted grass,
slowly piling on wilted leaves,
that have yet to be removed.
tiny heralds of the changing seasons,
a signal that winter is on the way.
the blow around gently,
before they melt,
as the sun finally shows.
