How To Get 1000’s Of Views On An Article
In the world of Internet writing views are often the name of the game.
It can be hard to get views on articles especially if you are new to the writing business and haven’t mastered the finer points of Search Engine Optimization or SEO.
The trouble is most of the things that are written to maximize the post’s SEO is not stuff that’s fun to write.
SEO is often for posts filled with buzzwords and often revolves some type of business communication. It’s something that’s written more to attract views and get traction from search engines in order to market something and not meant to be a fun read.
But, there are ways to get boost in the rankings and have your article get noticed.
By far the best tool for this is Reddit.
In fact, there really isn’t anything better to get a lot of views in a short amount of time.
This is especially potent if you combine it with the right article.
For instance, in December I wrote an article when it was announced that The Punisher might get another season.
It was relatively newsworthy among comic and TV fans.
So I wrote up an article and then I had to pick a spot to put it.
I like Vocal.media for this since they pay decent per view and it’s a free website so there’s no paywall to slow down the incoming traffic.
So this the first part.
Have an article that’s somewhat popular that day or week. You want it to be something a lot of people are Googling at that moment.
Now, once you publish it now its time to put it in the right places.
This is where Reddit comes in.
If you were relying solely on SEO then you publish, maybe share it on social media, and then just wait to gather views. This can take a long time. Sometimes months to years go by before the article ranks high enough to get traffic.
This is how to speed up the process.
Once I wrote the article. I put in the subreddit Televsion as well as the one for The Punisher.
It did two things. One, people could directly see it. The Television has millions of members, and the The Punisher one has tens of thousands. So if your article can get some traction there it means thousands of views views and people sharing your article.
But that’s only the first benefit.
With all these people viewing your article it will start to rank on Google much faster than you just left it in the wild.
This was the results when I checked it two days later.

The combo of people reading it and getting it higher in Google meant lots of people seeing it in a short amount of time.
This is a good system to use if you want to get your work in front of a lot of people.
Sometimes the results are better sometimes they are worse but it will get results if you do it right.
