The Tragedy of Mowing The Lawn

It’s done on days,

both hot and humid,

on and on it seems,

the lawn mower runs,

and the world smells,

like gasoline and,

rotting grass,

pass after pass,

until the job is done,

with sore legs and,

a back wet,

with sweat,

Only to do it again,

another day.
