When I graduated college, during the last of my senior seminar, we had to fill out a survey for the English program saying what we do when we graduated. The only options on the survey teacher, graduate school, and a couple business related thing like advertising or marketing.
Writer wasn’t even an option. I wrote in writer and it’s the only job I’ve ever had.
